Glencadam Single Malt 18YO

Glencadam Distillery announced the launch of an 18 Year Old Highland Single Malt to extend its award-winning range.
Glencadam Distillery is located about half a mile outside the ancient city and former Royal Burgh of Brechin in the kingdom of Angus in the eastern Highlands of Scotland.
This pretty and immaculately maintained “boutique” distillery was established in 1825, just one year after legitimate distilling on a large scale was legalised. Since 2003, the distillery has been owned by Angus Dundee Distillers Plc
The new release has been bottled at 46% vol and packaged in a striking dark emerald colour complimenting the look and feel of the Glencadam portfolio. Like all the editions in the range with age statements, the 18 years old has not been chill-filtered and no colouring has been added.
Colour – Ripe barley
Nose – Pineapple and banana bond with malty spice. Wafts of cigar box and white-pepper spice complete the mélange of elegant and complex aromas
Palate – Floral and spicy with sophisticated mix of fruits, nutmeg and sweet maltiness
Finish – Brave and proud with gentle pepper and spice
